Basic Information about Markers in Premiere Pro | Premier Pro Dude

Hello Guys, welcome to the community of 890 people. To day in this post, I am going to show you basic information about Markers & how you can use it?

Markers are nothing but a tool or feature that help us as a reference, reminder, note etc.

Suppose you are reading a book and coincidently your mom called you for a work, at that time, you will use a marker pen & mark a point of text where you finished your last reading. So, here marker is a reminder. 

Suppose, you are reading a script in a structured way and during your work, you came with an amazing idea to modify certain point in your script. But at the same time, you don't wish to interrupt your flow of reading. so, you will use a marker to note that point. There the marker is used as a reference or note. 

So, as the physical markers have different uses, same way, premiere pro's markers are used for several purpose and it totally depends upon your requirements. 

So, how to add a marker?

Simple,

 

So, you can add a marker by pressing "M" key on your keyboard.

Now suppose you have added multiple markers so, what if you want to go to previous marker's position?


And what if you want to go to the next marker's position?
